Membership
ICOMOS CIF is composed of Expert Members in the field of education and training for the protection, conservation and management of built heritage, historic sites and cultural landscape, and Affiliate members who want to develop this expertise.
All CIF Members (individual and institutional) must be members of ICOMOS and may remain members so long as they are ICOMOS members and meet the CIF criteria for participation.
Expert Members are accepted based on their individual competence, in particular their knowledge and experience in education and training for the understanding, protection, conservation and management of built heritage, historic sites and cultural landscapes.
Organizations of any kind who are members of ICOMOS and with expertise in one or more areas related to the aims of ICOMOS CIF can apply for Institutional Membership.
ICOMOS Members interested in gaining knowledge and building up expertise in areas relevant to the objectives of the Committee may apply for Affiliate Membership. Affiliate members are conditionally accepted for a period of three years, after which time their contribution to the Committee will be evaluated.
Applications relating to all categories of membership must be sent to cif@icomos.org with a copy for information to the applicant’s ICOMOS National Committee, or where none exists to the International Secretariat.
